Amber is an age old scent that has lasted century after century. It is also known as the "King of Scents". Amber is very unique as it's not really masculine or feminine. Amber has become a very generic term and many of the Amber oils on the market today contain synthetic oils and may not even resemble the smell of Amber. There is also the misconception that there is an Amber essential oil. True Amber oil is a combination of essential oils. It is always asked if Amber oil comes from the Baltic Amber that is used in jewelry making. That Amber does yield an oil through a destructive distillation process but it is quite stinky.
This Amber soap is also unique as it contains an Amber resin which makes for a harder bar therefore lasting longer.
